Baby Grand is the evolved identity of one of Flatbush's most relentless voices. Born and raised in Brooklyn, deeply rooted in the borough's Caribbean culture, he grew up where dancehall basslines bleed into bodega speakers and the block sets the tempo for everything. Fully Gaza. Fully Sparta. Fully Dunce. Those aren't just words in a bio — they're the soundtrack of the household, the yard, the neighborhood that shaped him.

Before the rebrand, he moved as YGF Loco, releasing the 8-track debut album Mr.Rabbnificent in 2022. The project showcased a versatile artist who could switch from menacing street anthems like "Knocc It Off" and "ON SIGHT" to introspective moments like "JESUS WALKS" — all without losing the edge that makes his music unmistakably Brooklyn. Features from KC BLU3, Jay Loc, MOSCATO BLU, and YUNG MUSA cemented him within a tight-knit collective of independent NYC artists who've been building in silence.

Beyond his own project, Baby Grand has left his mark across the underground — appearing on Jay Loc's Youngest in the Trenches, BIG GRAND's Overdue, Stacctonio's Staccaveli 2k, and HBL Prezzy's No Friends, No Favors. Every feature was a statement: he doesn't just show up, he takes over.
